It’s the annual Dunder Mifflin company picnic and Michael and Holly are reunited, and Michael has some big plans for her. Meanwhile, the office competes in the picnic’s volleyball tournament.

Michael turns the old Michael Scott Paper Company office into a coffee bar and disco, and wants everyone to ignore their work to relax there. Pam and Jim make secret plans to go to the courthouse.

Michael is caught in the middle when the sales team wants their old clients back from Pam and Ryan. Meanwhile, “Casual Friday” becomes a problem when certain members of the office staff dress inappropriately.

When Michael discovers his new company can’t survive financially for much longer, he panics. Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch is tired of losing clients, and makes a move to solve the problem.

Dwight’s loyalty to Michael is tested when he finds a new hero in Charles. Meanwhile, Andy tries to provide for all of Jim’s emotional needs.

Michael hosts a pancake lunch to try to gain new clients for his business. Pam and Ryan find it difficult to work in the same small space. Meanwhile, at Dunder Mifflin, Dwight and Andy become unlikely friends and Jim tries to figure out what a “rundown” is after Charles asks him to do one.

Not only is Jim having trouble impressing his new boss with his work skills, but he finds himself competing against Charles in a soccer game. Concerned about his new job changes, Michael doesn’t want to leave his home and go to work.

Knowing he won’t be at Dunder Mifflin much longer, Michael wastes as much time at work as possible. Meanwhile, Pam battles the new photocopier and Kelly seems to have a crush on the new boss.
